Walking

We collect walkers from the car park on the Ridgeway below Lockinge. We will also run you to a local pub where you can dine.

From the Ridgeway, west of west Ilsley, there are a number of footpaths leading to Farnborough. In an emergency we can collect walkers from a convenient point on the road, where it crosses the Ridgeway above Wantage above West Ilsley. Refreshments are always waiting for tired walkers.

The surrounding countryside is home to birds such as red kites, buzzards, herons and many other species. You can also see deer, hares, foxes and other mammals.Short eared owls are a big attraction on the Ridgeway.
